Earlier, we reported about Rasha Thadani lending her voice to a song titled 'Chaap Tilak' for her upcoming film Laikey Laikaa, directed by Saurabh Gupta and co-starring Abhay Verma. While Rasha, daughter of Raveena Tandon, made her acting debut with last year's Azaad, the song from Laikey Laikaa marks her first performance as a playback singer. She has been getting some appreciation for it from within and beyond the Hindi film industry.

The latest to appreciate Rasha for her rendition of the 'Chaap Tilak' song is Telugu superstar Prabhas. Sharing the clip from her recording session on his Instagram Stories, the actor wrote, "Such a lovely singing debut Rasha Thadani. Your performance in 'Chaap Tilak' is honest, heartfelt and comes straight from the heart. Congratulations."

Prabhas' appreciation comes at a time when Rasha is set to make her Telugu debut with a film titled Srinivasa Mangapuram. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, the film Srinivasa Mangapuram also stars Mahesh Babu's nephew Jaya Krishna and Mohan Babu, among others. Srinivasa Mangapuram has GV Prakash Kumar as the composer.

Coming back to 'Chaap Tilak', IP Singh has also sung the track alongside Rasha based on the lyrics he wrote alongside Siddharth-Garima. Rajarshi Sanyal and IP Singh have composed the music for the song under the Faridkot band. IP Singh has sung the Punjabi lines in the song.

The film is produced by Bhavna Talwar and Raghav Gupta under the banners of Phantom Studios and N2O Films. The makers are yet to reveal further details about the film's plot. Announced last June, Laikey Laikaa has been slated for a summer release.
