A few days ago, the makers of Laikey Laikaa had unveiled the first look of their film. On Wednesday, the team resumed the promotions by unveiling another series of posters, this time introducing the character look of its protagonists, played by Rasha Thadani and Abhay Verma.

The new posters build on the promise of a small-town love story that is equal parts rustic and violent. The posters also stand out for their striking use of color contrast, using wall graffiti as a dynamic layer in the background. Most importantly, it’s the use of blood, that adds a different context to the posters that are otherwise focused on the intense romance between the leads. 

Laikey Laikaa is produced by Bhavna Talwar and Raghav Gupta. Saurabh Gupta helms direction for the project. More details about the primary cast and crew are yet to be announced.

The film was announced in June last year, and Abhay began shooting for the project in September. Interestingly, the makers have been promoting the film since many months now, sharing reels with its lead pair. Laikey Laikaa has been tentatively scheduled for Summer 2026 release.

Abhay hasn’t had a major film released since Munjya (2024), his breakout hit. Meanwhile, Rasha, who made her debut with Azaad last year, is also gearing up for her Telugu debut later this year. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, the film, titled Srinivasa Mangapuram, pairs her with Mahesh Babu’s nephew Jaya Krishna Ghattamneni.
