We had earlier reported about the makers of Cocktail 2, which stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, setting June 19 as their film’s release date. On Wednesday, the Cocktail 2 makers released a brief glimpse of their single ‘Jab Talak.’

Composed by Pritam, ‘Jab Talak’ is a groovy dance number that aptly captures the sunny and youthful vibe of the Cocktail universe. Arijit Singh lends the number a lot of swagger, accompanied by Akasa who brings a earthy contrast in the vocals section. Irshad Kamil has penned the lyrics. It is to be noted that Pritam and Irshad Kamil were also the composer-lyricist duo for Cocktail (2012).

The music video for ‘Jab Talak’ features the film’s three leads letting their hair down as they party with a vibrant crowd at beautiful outdoor locales. Vijay A Ganguly, most known for ‘Shararat’ song from Dhurandhar, has choreographed the ‘Jab Talak’ music video. 

Cocktail 2 is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg. Luv is also a co-writer for the film, alongside Tarun Jain. In the technical team, the film has cinematographer Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran and costume designer Anaita Shroff Adjania on board. 

Directed By Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 is the only major Hindi film scheduled for June 19 release. 

This is Rashmika's maiden collaboration with both Shahid and Kriti.
