Shah Rukh Khan expressed his gratitude to Diljit Dosanjh for singing a song in Aryan Khan’s upcoming web-series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Diljit gave his vocals for the song, ‘Tenu Ki Pata’, which was unveiled by the makers recently.

Shah Rukh shared a behind-the-scenes video from the song’s recording where Diljit and Aryan are seen discussing. Diljit is seen giving some takes for the song as Aryan plays guitar outside the recording room. The two are seen hugging each other in the end and getting on a video call with Shah Rukh.

Sharing the Behind-The -Scenes (BTS) video, Shah Rukh wrote, “A heartfelt thanks and big jhappi (hug) to Diljit paaji….you are too kind and sweet. Hope Aryan didn’t trouble u too much. Love u.”

The music video of the song features Manoj Pahwa as a rockstar musician who is seen entering into the boxing ring for a fight with singer and rapper Badshah. Manoj is then singing the song on the stage in front of a mic as the vocals by Diljit capture the swag in his personality.

Directed by Aryan Khan, the series features Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Vijayant Kohli, Gautami Kapoor, and Rajat Bedi in pivotal roles and also has cameo appearances by Shah Rukh, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Disha Patani, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar and others.

Written by Aryan, Bilal Siddiqi, and Manav Chauhan, the series is created by Bilal and Manav. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood is set to be released on Netflix on September 18.

Meanwhile, Diljit was last seen in the Punjabi film, Sardaar Ji 3, which courted a controversy for featuring Pakistani actor Hania Aamir and was not released in India. The film, however, was released internationally. Diljit will be seen next in Border 2 which is set to be released in theatres next year.
