Actor Kartik Aaryan has suffered an injury on the sets of his upcoming film with director Kabir Khan. As per a report in India Today, the actor injured himself on the knee while shooting an intense action sequence for his untitled film with Kabir.
It was the last two days of the shoot, with major action sequences planned for the final stretch.
A source close to the production said, “Kartik has now been admitted to Fortis Raheja Hospital and is under medical care. The doctors will perform his knee surgery in a day, after which he will have to rest for a few days. He should then be able to resume his work commitments.”
Kartik is expected to take a few days off to recover before resuming work on Anurag Basu’s untitled film.
After Chandu Champion (2023) for which the actor won the National Film Award, this will be Kartik’s second collaboration with Kabir. Kartik also has Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s fantasy-comedy Naagzilla and Shimit Amin’s Captain India in the pipeline.
