Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s Pati Patni Aur Woh Do gets release date

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do also stars Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming romantic-comedy, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do will be released in theatres on March 4, the makers announced on Saturday. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles.

The makers shared a text poster of the film to make the announcement. The caption to the post read, “Every husband has his own little absurd world —one that may trouble him, but never fails to make us all laugh!”

Pati Patni Aur Who Do is a spiritual sequel to Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday’s 2019 romantic-comedy, Pati Patni Aur Woh, which told the story of a married man, played by Kartik, who gets infatuated with a young fashion designer, played by Ananya, causing trouble with his wife (Bhumi). It was a remake of the 1978 film of the same name which starred Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur and was directed by B.R. Chopra.

Pati Patni Aur Who Do is by Bhushan Kumar, Renu Ravi Chopra, and creatively produced by Juno Chopra.

Ayushmann will be seen next in the horror-comedy, Thamma which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal  and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. Helmed by Munjya (2024) director Aditya Sarpotdar, the film has been produced by Dinesh Vijan and is set to be released in theatres on October 21.

Meanwhile, Sara was last seen in Anurag Basu’s romantic-musical, Metro…In Dino, which also stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur and Saswata Chatterjee in pivotal roles. It was released in theatres earlier this in July.
