Choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza is set to helm the upcoming actioner, Dongri Gangster's Paradise. The film is set in the Mumbai underworld and is written by Satyamev Jayate director Milap Milan Zaveri.

The makers unveiled a short promo of the film to make the announcement. It features a set of slick, noir visuals of a car stopping at a place juxtaposed with an old elevator going down. Just as the elevator opens, bullets are fired inside as blood gushes on its walls.

Sharing the promo, the makers wrote, “The Mumbai underworld rises again. Presenting #Dongri Gangster's Paradise, a raw, emotional, and explosive action drama from the heart of Mumbai.”

Featuring music by Sachin-Jigar, the film’s shoot is expected to commence in February next year.

It is produced by Sandeep Singh and Vishal Gurnani and will be released in theatres on October 9, 2026. More details about the film’s cast are awaited.

Remo is known for helming dance films like, ABCD (2013), ABCD 2 (2015) and the recent Abhishek Bachchan starrer, Be Happy (2025). He has also directed Salman Khan’s Race 3 (2018) and Tiger Shroff’s superhero actioner, A Flying Jatt (2016)
