Bhool Chuk Maaf to release directly on OTT amidst India-Pakistan tensions

Amidst tensions between India and Pakistan in the aftermath of Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s time-loop comedy Bhool Chuk Maaf, which was earlier slated to release theatrically on May 9, will now land directly on OTT on May 16.

The film’s makers Maddock Films and Prime Video took to social media to make the announcement. “In light of recent events and the heightened security drills across the nation, we at Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios have decided to bring our family entertainer, Bhool Chuk Maaf, directly to your homes on May 16—only on Prime Video, worldwide. While we were eagerly looking forward to celebrating this film with you in theaters, the spirit of the nation comes first. JAI HIND,” reads the text on the announcement photo.

Bhool Chuk Maaf has been written and directed by Karan Sharma and also features Sanjay Mishra, Seema Pahwa, Zakir Hussain, Raghubir Yadav, Ishtiyak Khan and Anubha Fatehpuria in pivotal roles.
