Akshay Kumar, Allu Arjun, Kangana Ranaut and other film celebrities hailed Indian army’s missile strikes on Pakistan under ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Wednesday. The Indian armed forces carried out the strikes in the early hours of May 7 in retaliation against the terror attack in Pahalgam which killed 26 people.
Taking to X, Akshay shared the now viral poster of ‘Operation Sindoor’ and wrote, “Jai Hind. Jai Mahakaal.”
Allu shared the same poster and wrote, “May justice be served. Jai Hind.”
Kangana took to Instagram stories and said, “May god protect those who protect us. Wishing our forces safety and success.”
Suniel Shetty shared the poster on Instagram and wrote, “Terror has no place. Zero Tolerance. Total Justice.”
Filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor called the strikes a ‘befitting response’. “India’s response to Pahalgam terrorists attacks is befitting a Nation that is showing the world how responsible and confident it is in itself. Without the rhetoric of War #operation_sindoor is a precise hit at territories and organisation that backed the horrendous terrorist that killed innocent civilians,” he wrote on X.
Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “Jai Hind Ki Sena … भारत माता की जय (Hail mother India)!”
The missile strikes by Indian army come two weeks after the barbaric April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that drew widespread criticism and outrage.
