Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming actioner Maalik will be released in theatres on July 11, the makers announced on Friday. It was earlier set to be released on June 20. The film has been directed by Pulkit (Bhakshak).
Making the announcement, the makers shared an already released poster of Rajkummar from the film where he is seen holding a rifle in his hand as he stands atop a police vehicle. The caption read, “Raub, Rutba, aur RAJ hoga Maalik ka, 11 July se. Aa rahe hain Maalik, 11 July se sirf cinemagharon mein.”
According to Instagram tags on the post, musician duo Sachin-Jigar will serve as the music directors with Amitabh Bhattacharya working as the lyricist. The film is produced by Kumar Taurani and Jay Shewakramani. More details on the project are awaited.
Rajkummar was last seen in the massively successful horror-comedy Stree 2 and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which tanked at the box office. The actor also recently ventured into production as he announced his company KAMPA Films, in collaboration with his wife and actor Patralekhaa.
He will also be seen next in the romantic-comedy Bhool Chuk Maaf, which will be released in theatres on May 9.
