On Friday, actor and director Anupam Kher shared his recent surprise meeting with Kamal Haasan at the Delhi airport. Sharing a photo with the veteran actor, he penned a note on the long conversation they shared after their serendipitous meeting.

He wrote, "Was delighted to meet one of the FINEST actors of Indian cinema, #KamalHassan ji, at the Delhi Airport! Have been an admirer of his craft and varied performances for years. Have learnt so much from him as an actor. His list of great performances is countless! We sat in the airport lounge for almost an hour. In that one hour it seemed we spoke about a lifetime! So many topics – world cinema, #KBalachander sir, life lessons, favourite books and of course the great #RajniKanth sir! It was a RICH conversation! Thank you, sir, for your wisdom, warmth and appreciation! Love, respect and prayers always! "

Despite being stalwarts in their respective industries, Anupam Kher and Kamal Haasan have not collaborated in a film as of yet.

On the work front, Anupam, who made his directorial debut with Om Jai Jagadish in 2002, made his comeback as a filmmaker with Tanvi The Great earlier this year. As an actor, he had Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Calorie this year and is currently working on The India House and reportedly also on the sequel of Khosla Ka Ghosla.

On the other hand, Kamal Haasan is filming for his next, KH 237, helmed by stunt choreographer duo Anbariv, amidst his parliamentary duties. He is also set to produce a film in which Rajinikanth is set to star, the director for which is yet to be finalised. The actor was last seen in Mani Ratnam's Thug Life.
