Adipurush, the recently released Hindi film starring actor Prabhas in the lead role, is now available for streaming on Prime Video. The film, which is an adaptation of Hindu epic Ramayana, is directed by Om Raut.

The film also stars Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. Adipurush opened to negative reviews. The film opens from Ram and Sita’s exile from their kingdom as they embark on a journey. While Raavan abducts Sita, the film focuses on Ram’s efforts to build a monkey army to rescue his wife from the clutches of the demon king.

Though originally a Hindi language film, Adipurush was released in all major South Indian languages. Adipurush is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series with Om Raut's home production Retrophiles. While Karthik Palani is the cinematographer, the edit is done by Apurva Motiwale, Sahai, and Ashish Mhatre.
