The world of Greek mythology has always been one where alliances can be as unpredictable as the battles themselves. With gods, Titans and demigods caught in an endless struggle for power, even the smallest decision can have consequences that extend far beyond the battlefield. For Percy Jackson, however, the stakes have become increasingly personal, with the people closest to him often finding themselves in the middle of these larger conflicts.

The prophecy surrounding the children of the Big Three, Zeus, Poseidon and Hades, continues to cast a shadow over Olympus. As questions surrounding the fate of the gods remain unanswered, the coming together of unlikely allies could prove crucial. Adding to the uncertainty is the complicated equation between Percy and Thalia Grace, both of whom have reasons to question where their loyalties lie.

Against this backdrop, Disney+ has unveiled the official trailer for the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, teasing an impending war between the gods and Titans. Based on Rick Riordan's third novel, The Titan's Curse, the upcoming season follows Percy (Walker Scobell) as he sets out to rescue Annabeth Chase (Leah Sava Jeffries), who is captured by the forces of Kronos. "There's a war coming between the gods and the Titans, and if we're going to survive it, we must join forces," Percy declares in the trailer.

The preview begins with Percy and his friends attempting to bring Thalia (Tamara Smart), daughter of Zeus, into their mission to protect children who are yet to discover that they are demigods. However, their plans take a turn when Annabeth is captured by Luke's (Charlie Bushnell) forces and taken to Atlas (Holt McCallany). With Annabeth's life at stake, Percy embarks on a dangerous mission, accompanied by Grover (Aryan Simhadri) and a group of unlikely allies. The trailer also offers glimpses of several monsters, including Talos, the giant bronze automaton.

The trailer also introduces several characters from Riordan's book series. Levi Chrisopulos appears as Nico di Angelo, while Olive Abercrombie plays his sister Bianca. Dafne Keen joins the cast as Artemis, with Saara Chaudry playing Zoë Nightshade. The new additions also include Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite, Ming-Na Wen as Hera, Jennifer Beals as Demeter and Hubert Smielecki as Apollo. The first look at McKinnon and Wen's respective characters adds to the expanding roster of Greek gods in the series.

Created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E Steinberg, Percy Jackson and the Olympians also stars Charlie Bushnell, Daniel Diemer, Dior Goodjohn, Glynn Turman, Courtney B Vance, Jason Mantzoukas, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Adam Copeland, among others. The third season will premiere with two episodes on Disney+ on November 20, followed by two episodes releasing weekly. The season marks the first screen adaptation of The Titan's Curse, continuing the series' journey through Riordan's five-book saga.
