U2’s lead singer Bono once said, “Music can change the world because it can change people.” The trailer for the Bruce Springsteen biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere shows a sneak-peek into the titular hero’s childhood, involving living in a bedroom with a hole in the floor. The trailer has a line that goes, "Bruce is a repairman, what he is doing with this album is he is repairing a hole in his floor... A hole in himself. And once he has done that, he is going to repair the entire world." The song that plays in the background during the delivery of the line is Springsteen’s ‘Nebraska’, the album in question is also the same, and the film is set in the 1980s, a period he reportedly started to see a psychotherapist for his bouts of depression.

The Scott Cooper directorial stars Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen and Jeremy Strong as his longtime manager and record producer Jon Landau. It explores the making of Springsteen's ‘Nebraska’, widely regarded as a landmark achievement in music. Recently, Springsteen himself appreciated White's performance in the film. Cooper is directing it from his own screenplay, based on Warren Zanes’ eponymous book. The ensemble cast also includes Stephen Graham, Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, Gaby Hoffmann, Harrison Gilbertson, Johnny Cannizzaro, David Krumholtz, Chris Jaymes, and Marc Maron.

Prolific record producer Dave Cobb, known for his collaborations with Springsteen, Brandi Carlile, and Jason Isbell, is contributing to the film's music. Deliver Me From Nowhere is set for an October 24 release.
