Earlier, we reported that Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe wrote a letter to the new Harry Potter, who takes on the role for the HBO series, Dominic McLaughlin. Now, McLaughlin has shared what he felt when he opened the letter.

The young actor was given the letter when he was returning home on a train to Glasgow, he revealed while speaking to the BBC in their show Saturday Mash-Up! Live. To describe the feeling of receiving a letter from the original Harry Potter, he said, “It was insane.”

It was not until he got to the bottom that he knew that it was written to him by Radcliffe. “My dad tapped me on the train and just gave me this letter. I read it, and then I got to the bottom, and it said, ‘Dan R.’ I was going mad, but I had to [keep cool]. I was on the train.”

Previously, Daniel Radcliffe shared about the letter, “I wrote Dominic a letter just wishing him the best time. I had a wonderful experience, and I hope he has an even better one."

Apart from his experience reading Radcliffe's letter, McLaughlin also had an update about his experience shooting for Harry Potter. "It’s going amazing; it’s going really well. I’ve made good friends with everyone; it’s great to be there.”
