Severance star Tramell Tillman boards Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Tramell Tillman will join Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, Sadie Sink, and Liza Colón-Zayas, among others, in Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Tramell Tillman is set to swing into the Marvel universe. The Emmy-nominated actor, best known for playing Seth Milchick on Apple TV+’s hit series Severance, has joined the cast of Sony and Marvel’s upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, as per a report on Variety.

Though details about Tillman’s role remain tightly under wraps, he will share the screen with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, Zendaya’s MJ Jones-Watson, and Jacob Batalon’s Ned Leeds. The ensemble also includes Jon Bernthal reprising his role as the Punisher and Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, with Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas appearing in undisclosed parts.

Another noted Spider-Man character is also slated to come back for Brand New Day. Michael Mando, known for Better Call Saul, is reprising his role as the villain Scorpion, whom he first played in the first Tom Holland Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks the fourth installment in the Holland-led franchise and will be helmed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton. The film has a screenplay written by Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna. Details about the plot of the upcoming instalment are undisclosed. The upcoming film is backed by Amy Pascal and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. The film is slated to hit theatres worldwide on July 31, 2026.

Tillman’s career has been on a fast rise. His performance in Severance earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, alongside nominations from both the SAG Awards and the Independent Spirit Awards. Earlier this year, he appeared opposite Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

He is currently juggling multiple projects, including Amazon/MGM’s Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother and Lena Dunham’s upcoming Netflix feature Good Sex. His filmography also spans HBO Max’s Sweetheartsand the crime drama Barron’s Cove, while his television credits include Dietland, Godfather of Harlem, and Hunters.
