Scott Pilgrim vs. the World cast to reunite for Scott Pilgrim anime series

Earlier, we reported that an animated series based on the graphic novel Scott Pilgrim was in the works at Netflix. The graphic novel was already adapted as a feature film named Scott Pilgrim vs. the World in 2010. The latest update is that Netflix will bring back all the characters from the film as a voice cast for the anime series. 

The returning cast includes Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ramona Flowers), Satya Bhabha (Matthew Patel), Kieran Culkin (Wallace Wells), Chris Evans (Lucas Lee), Anna Kendrick (Stacey Pilgrim), Brie Larson (Envy Adams), Alison Pill (Kim Pine), Aubrey Plaza (Julie Powers), Brandon Routh (Todd Ingram), Jason Schwartzman (Gideon Graves), Johnny Simmons (Young Neil), Mark Webber (Stephen Stills), Mae Whitman (Roxie), and Ellen Wong (Knives Chau).

Bryan Lee O'Malley, the artist and creator of the graphic novels, will write and serve as an executive producer on the series along with BenDavid Grabinski, known for his work on Nickelodeon's Are You Afraid of the Dark? The duo will also serve as the showrunners. Edgar Wright, who directed the film, will also be credited as the series's executive producer.
