Spider-Man: No Way Home is reportedly getting a re-release in India with additional footage. The MCU film was iconic for utilising the multiverse concept by bringing former Spider-Man actors like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to play different iterations of the web-slinging superhero.

The film became a massive hit, crossing over 200 crores at the Indian box office alone. Now, Spider-Man: No Way Home is reportedly getting additional footage and will be returning to the theatres on 2 September.

The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, and Jamie Foxx. The announcement was made by the officials at Sony Pictures India. The statement reads “After the humongous success of Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021, Sony Pictures Entertainment India now announces the re-release of the blockbuster superhero film with all-new additional footage on 2nd September across theatres in India.”
