The teaser of Chennai Palani Mars, written and produced by Vijay Sethupathi, was unveiled by the team today. The teaser narrates the ambition of a young man who wants to go to Mars and the series of obstacles he faces in realising his dream.

“It is good to chase your dreams. But when you do that, the universe throws several hurdles at you. It is my dream to travel to Mars,” says the protagonist in a descriptive voice-over, that throws up profound questions that outline the film’s tone and perspective. Touted to be a fantasy film that is fuelled with dark comedy, Chennai Palani Mars features several newcomers.

The film will be directed, shot and edited by Orange Mittai director Biju Vishwanath. Notably, Orange Mittai, Vijay Sethupathi’s first production, starred the Super Deluxe actor as an ailing old man.
