Mahesh Chandra, who has directed films such as Preyasi Rave, Joruga Husharuga, Ayodhya Ramayya, Hanumanthu and a few others, is now returning with a new film after a long gap. His last film, Red Alert, was released in 2015, and after an 11-year gap, he is coming back with Pithapuramlo… Ala Modalaindi. The film is produced by Dundigalla Balakrishna, Akula Suresh Patel and FM Murali under the Mahesh Chandra Cinema Team and Evergreen Epic Cinema banners.

Interestingly, prominent production house Prime Show Entertainment is releasing the film in Telugu. The makers have announced that the film will hit the screens on September 18. Senior actor Rajendra Prasad is playing an important role in the film, along with Prithviraj, Kedar Shankar, Manichandana, Annapurnamma, Sunny Akhil, Virat, Sai Pranith, Srilu, Pratyusha, Rehana and others.

The film revolves around the bond between a father and daughter. Director Mahesh Chandra stated that the film has been crafted to convey a meaningful message to the youth while incorporating romance, subtle humour, sentiment and the emotional bond between a father and daughter. He noted that the film feels incredibly natural, with characters and incidents that mirror real life, and promises a fresh experience for the audience.

Legendary comedian Brahmanandam has lent his voice for the film, which the director says will be a special attraction. Renowned sculptor Rajkumar Wadayar also plays a key role in the film.

Mahesh Chandra mentioned the positive response from audiences to the trailer and two songs released so far. He added that the film offers a realistic, “live-action” feel and believes that such concepts remain evergreen.

Akula Suresh Patel has provided the story, while Sriram Edoti has worked on the story development and dialogues. GC Krish is the music director, with Mahesh Chandra handling the screenplay and direction.
