After the success of 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu, actor Vishwadev Rachakonda is coming up with a film titled Dark Chocolate. Bindu Madhavi plays the female lead, while Shashank Srivastavaya is the director. Rana Daggubati, through Spirit Media, is presenting the film in association with Waltair Productions. The film is set to hit theatres on November 13. Ahead of its release, the makers unveiled the trailer.
Speaking about the film, Vishwadev said that audiences have not seen a story of this kind in Telugu or Indian cinema before. "There is a duality in every person, and you will see it reflected like a mirror when you watch this film. This is a never-before, ever-after kind of film. Nothing like this has ever been made before," he said.
The actor added that Dark Chocolate cannot be compared with films made in other languages. "It cannot be compared with a film from any other language. I proudly say that this is a Telugu film," he said.
Vishwadev also praised director Shashank for presenting the story in a distinctive way. "The film has several layers and offers a wonderful experience. It is also an experiment. Even if we upload the script and you read it before coming to the theatre, the experience will not change. It will definitely offer something new and different," he said.
The actor expressed confidence that the film would leave audiences talking about it even after they leave the theatres. "Films like 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu, Pareshan and Double Engine were all made with honesty. Dark Chocolate will be highly engaging. We have already held a few screenings, and some people have watched the film as many as five times," said Vishwadev.
He added that audiences would understand the reason behind multiple viewings once they watched the film themselves. "You will understand why they watched it so many times after seeing it yourself," he said.
Vishwadev also revealed that the film's music would be different from what audiences usually hear. He believes Dark Chocolate will leave a lasting impression and set a benchmark. "I believe the film will be remembered for generations and will stand as a benchmark. Dark Chocolate will offer all of you a new experience when it arrives in theatres on November 13. It is definitely a film that you will want to watch again and again," he said.
