After a three-year gap, Samantha is back with Maa Inti Bangaram. Directed by Nandini Reddy, the film is produced by Samantha, Raj Nidimoru, and Himanshu. Released on June 19, the film received a strong response from audiences, and the success meet was held in Visakhapatnam on Friday evening.

At the event, Samantha and Raj Nidimoru spoke about the film and her return to acting. Raj revealed that Samantha initially did not wish to do films anymore. “Actually, Samantha doesn't want to do films as she wants to stop completely,” said Raj. He added that he convinced her to continue acting and take up Maa Inti Bangaram. He also said that Samantha has a huge fan following among Telugu audiences, which encouraged them to make the film.

Samantha also admitted that she wanted to quit films. “Before Maa Inti Bangaram, I was scared that people would buy a ticket for my film. Because I didn’t have confidence, because I didn’t do a film in the last three years,” said Samantha.

She said Raj’s words were true and thanked him for encouraging her. “Yes, I told Raju garu that I can’t do films, so I want to stop forever. But I should thank Raju garu for saying ‘no’ to me and asking me to do a film. He convinced me to do Maa Inti Bangaram,” revealed Samantha.

The actor became emotional while talking about her journey. “All this is like a dream for me because in the last three years, I sat at home nearly two years alone. I had my health issues and struggled a lot. I didn’t know whether I could see this film. But today you all owned my film Maa Inti Bangaram, which made me very happy,” she said.

Samantha thanked audiences for making the film successful and said she was touched by the response from women audiences. “A number of women came to see my film, including college girls, mothers and grandmothers. I can’t explain how I felt seeing those women whistle and clap watching my film,” she said.

She added that the success feels like a miracle. “I don’t think there is any hard work behind this film. I think some miracle happened and God has done something like that. You all gave me a big gift with this success,” said Samantha.

The actor became emotional after seeing the huge crowd at the success meet and said that this moment is every artist’s biggest dream.
