Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo, known for films like The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, Blood Diamond, GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra and GI Joe: Retaliation, is now making his debut in Indian cinema with Ranabaali. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are playing the lead roles, while Rahul Sankrityan is directing the film.
On the occasion of Arnold Vosloo’s birthday, the makers of Ranabaali unveiled his character poster from the film. Inspired by lesser-known real-life events from Indian history, the epic features Vijay Deverakonda as the titular fierce warrior, while Rashmika Mandanna plays Jayamma. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on September 11.
Adding to the buzz, the makers introduced Arnold Vosloo’s character on his birthday. Best known for playing Imhotep in The Mummy franchise, Vosloo is set to make his Indian cinema debut with Ranabaali as The Demon of Drought – Sir Theodore Hector.
The character poster presents Vosloo in an intense and powerful avatar, wearing a metallic cape with smoke surrounding him, hinting at a crucial role in this historical epic.

Meanwhile, the romantic track 'O Mere Saajan' has already become a talking point, showcasing the chemistry between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna against the film’s grand backdrop. The song has crossed 3 million views on YouTube and has generated strong buzz on social media.
With Arnold Vosloo’s character revealed, the excitement around Ranabaali has increased further. The film is produced by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under Mythri Movie Makers in association with T-Series.
