Teaser for Naveen Chandra’s Honey unveiled

Director Karuna Kumar, known for his period dramas, explores a new genre with the horror-thriller Honey

Naveen Chandra, who has multiple projects across different genres in the pipeline, will next be seen in the horror thriller Honey. The film is directed by Karuna Kumar of Pasala 1978 fame. The teaser for Honey has now been unveiled. Divya Pillai plays the female lead, while Ravi Peetla and Praveen Kumar Reddy are producing the film.

The teaser establishes Honey as a horror thriller set against a rural backdrop. After making a mark with period dramas, Karuna Kumar steps into the horror genre for the first time with this film. The teaser hints at the story involving strong psychological elements intertwined with themes of black magic.

Ritual-based incidents are prominently featured, adding to the eerie atmosphere. The makers have also mentioned that the story is inspired by true incidents, which further adds intrigue. Naveen Chandra appears in a completely new look, distinct from his previous films.

Music is composed by Ajay Arasada, and going by the teaser, the background score seems to play a crucial role in enhancing the film’s mood. Raja Ravindra is seen in a fresh and different avatar, while Bigg Boss fame Divi Vadthya appears in a key role.

Blending psychological depth, social relevance, and horror elements, Honey is all set to hit the screens on February 6.
