Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently tied the knot with director Raj Nidimoru five years after her split with Naga Chaitanya. She surprised fans by sharing photos of her intimate wedding ceremony at the Linga Bhairava temple at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore on December 1, 2025. Now, in an interview with Vogue India, Samantha has shared how she's become a different person due to her relationship with Raj.

Speaking about her split with Naga Chaitanya, she said, "When I went through a separation, I closed up completely. I didn’t think it would ever be possible to rely on someone else. Thankfully, I was vulnerable enough to accept that kind of love and friendship. And I’m a much better person because of the relationship I’m in. Because of the person Raj is.”

Further, she also revealed that the people around her feel so too. "I met an old friend a few days ago, and she sent me a voice note afterwards saying, ‘This is the first time in a long time that I feel like you’re not struggling to breathe.’ I’m not performing anymore," she revealed.

As per reports, Samantha and Raj first met when she starred in The Family Man season 2 in 2021. Rumours of the two dating came up after she reunited with the Raj and DK duo for Citadel: Honey Bunny.

On Monday, a release date was announced for Samantha's next, Maa Inti Bangaram. Helmed by BV Nandini Reddy, the upcoming film is Samantha's second project as a producer, backed under her Tralala Moving Pictures banner, after Subham (2025), and is set to hit theatres on May 15. Raj is also producing the film along with Himank Duvvuru. He has also written the film along with Vasanth Maringanti.
