The first teaser for Vishwak Sen's upcoming directorial, Cult, has been released. While a release date hasn't been announced, the upcoming film has been marketed as 'India's first slasher film'.

Cult is Vishwak's third directorial after Falaknuma Das (2019) and Das Ki Dhamki (2023). While Vishwak has written the story and the screenplay, the dialogues for Cult has been written by Tharun Bhascker. Sandeep Kakarla is producing the film. Tarak Cinemas is the banner backing the film.

The cast of the film also includes Gayatri Bharadwaj, Tarak Ponnapa, Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyenger, Karthikeya, Anirudh Bhaskar, EZY, Yagnya Turlapati, Kabeer Bhartiya, Vishak Nair, and Chepuri Vivek.

Ravi Basrur is composing music for the film. The crew also consists of Aravind Viswanathan as the director of photography, Ravi Teja Girijala as the editor, Aravind Mule as the production designer, Karunakar and Joshua are the stunt choreographers on the film.
