Gunasekhar’s Euphoria releases along half a dozen films

This Friday, all eyes are on the theatres, which will be busy as Dhurandhar fame Sara Arjun, whose Telugu debut Euphoria is releasing alongside five other films

On February 6, as many as half a dozen films are hitting the screens, most of them small-budget releases. Veteran filmmaker and producer Gunasekhar, known for films like Okkadu, Choodalani Vundi and Sogasu Chooda Tarama, is returning with Euphoria. The film introduces several new faces and also features actor Bhumika Chawla in a key role.

Sara Arjun, who is currently in the limelight after the success of her Hindi film Dhurandhar, is the main attraction of Euphoria. Unlike his previous films, Euphoria is a low budget and is inspired by true incidents.

Another film releasing this Friday is Sri Chidambaram Garu, directed by debutant Vinay Ratnam. The film is set against a rural backdrop and introduces several new faces, including lead actors Vamsi Tummala and Sandhya Vasishta.

Naveen Chandra headlines the dark horror film Honey, directed by Karuna Kumar of Palasa 1978 fame. Divi Vidhya plays another prominent role in the film. The trailer for the film was released recently.

Chandra Hass, the son f ETV Prabhakar’, is leading the cast of Barabar Premistha. Another film releasing this Friday is Sumathi Sathakam. Amardeep Chaudhary plays the lead.

Apart from these Telugu releases, the Tamil film With Love, dubbed into Telugu, is also hitting the screens. Tourist Family director Abishan Jeevinth plays the male lead, while Anaswara Rajan is the female lead. She was recently seen in the Telugu film Champion and received appreciation for her performance. The film is produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth, daughter of actor Rajinikanth.
