Junior, the Telugu-Kannada bilingual film which marked the on-screen debut for Kireeti Reddy, is now available for streaming. After a theatrical window of 10 weeks, the coming-of-age drama can now be streamed on Aha, Prime Video and Nammaflix.

While the Telugu version can be streamed on Aha and Prime Video, Nammaflix is the film’s streaming partner for the Kannada version.  Directed by Radhakrishna Reddy, Junior told the story of Abhi (Kireeti Reddy), a spoilt and carefree brat who uncovers the turmoil gripping his father and their village, and that’s when a shift from naivety to responsibility begins for him.

Junior also marked the comeback to South Indian cinema for Genelia d’Souza after more than 12 years. Sreeleela meanwhile, plays Abhi’s classmate Spoorthy, and Ravichandran V and Sudharani played the protagonist’s parents. The ensemble cast included actors like Rao Ramesh, Sudharani, Achyuth Kumar, Satya, and Viva Harsha in pivotal roles.

Devi Sri Prasad composed songs and background score for the film. Junior had a strong technical team, with KK Senthil Kumar in charge of cinematography and Peter Hein helming action choreography. The production design is handled by Raveendar, and editing by Niranjan Devaramane. Junior was produced by Sai Korrapati under the banner of Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram.

In our review for the film, we noted, “Despite its predictable template, Junior wins because it never loses sight of its emotional core. It reminds us that behind every prankster lies a longing, and behind every strict parent is a story we may never fully understand. It’s about the quiet heroes in our lives, whose love is too often misunderstood. With its commercial glaze and sentimental core, Junior is a film that connects across generations.”
