3 days ahead of their film’s release, the much anticipated Pawan Kalyan starrer They Call Him OG has completed its censor formalities, receiving an A certificate from the censor board.

The official trailer of the film was released online today, after a lot of delays on the technical side. The trailer, which contains a lot of violence and bloodshed, had raised a few concerns about the film’s compatibility with family audience. And now, by going for an A certificate, instead of a U/A certificate, the makers have confirmed the strong presence of gruesome visuals and violence.

Directed by Sujeeth and produced under the banner of DVV Entertainment, OG also stars Priyanka Mohan, Sriya Reddy, Prakash Raj, and Arjun Das in the lead cast. Additionally, Emraan Hashmi makes his Telugu film debut playing the main antagonist Omi. Thaman’s music for the film has already become massive chartbuster. On the technical front, Navin Nooli is the editor while cinematography is co-helmed by Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahansa.

The advance sales for OG have been very strong, and the Pawan Kalyan starrer is looking at breaking multiple opening day records, especially in the Telugu states.

Sujeeth’s previous film was the Prabhas starrer Saaho (2019).
