Priyanka Mohan, whose last Telugu film was Nani starrer Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, returns with a role in another DVV Entertainment production, the much-awaited OG starring Pawan Kalyan. This film marks the first time Priyanka is sharing screen space with Pawan Kalyan. Ahead of the film’s release, the Saripodhaa Sanivaaram actor talked about her experience working with the Power Star.

Talking about her role in the film, Priyanka said, “It’s been a two-year journey, an unforgettable experience. The story is set in the late 80s, and this character of Kanmani is definitely my favourite and has a special place in my life. She is an innocent, sweet girl who is madly in love with Ojas, someone who will also change his life.” Priyanka also revealed that she had signed OG much before Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.

Recalling her collaboration with Pawan Kalyan, Priyanka noted, “ It’s a blessing to get the opportunity to work with Pawan sir.  I had heard a lot of stories about Pawan sir. He is really a gentleman and treats everyone like equals. He is a leader, on screen and off screen. His craze is beyond regions.”

Priyanka also mentioned that on sets, Pawan Kalyan likes to improvise a lot. “He always takes the scenes that are going to be shot the next day, and discusses with the director. Even on sets, he will say, ‘We can do this way’ and is constantly improvising.”

Priyanka also praised her OG director Sujeeth, stating, “He is very sensible. He knows exactly what he wants, and also how to extract performances from his actors. And as you all are seeing, the visuals and looks have come out very well.”

OG is slated to hit theatres on September 25. The makers released their new single, ‘Guns & Roses,’ on Monday, which too has been received very well by film-goers. Thaman S is the music director for the film.
