Every year, September 2 is anything but an ordinary day for Tollywood. Pawan Kalyan, fondly known as the Power Star, celebrates his 57th birthday on Tuesday, and the industry turned into a stage of tributes. The occasion carried a double weight because not only is he a leading man on screen, but he also holds office as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Big names in the industry stepped forward to pen tributes of their own. Leading the wishes was his elder brother, Chiranjeevi, who dug into his memory box. Sharing a nostalgic photo, he wrote in Telugu (translated), Wishing birthday greetings to Kalyan Babu, who is continuously serving the people as a lead actor in the film industry, as a Jana Sena leader in public life, and as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The dedication you are showing in public service is unforgettable. With the blessings of all the people, with affection, I bless you to live a hundred years with good health and stand as a guide for the people.”

Director Sujeeth, who is steering Pawan’s upcoming They Call Him OG, called him an inspiration. “First my hero. Now my OG,” he wrote, recalling how Pawan influenced his journey even before they began working together.

Allu Arjun struck a simpler tone but packed in just as much admiration, “Heartfelt birthday wishes to our Powerstar & Deputy CM @PawanKalyan garu.”

Actor Sriya Reddy, also part of OG, praised Pawan’s conviction, “What sets you apart is not just the films, but the spirit you bring into everything you do. Your vision continues to inspire people.”

On the other hand, Harish Shankar’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh is lining up for a 2026 release. Both projects have been building steady anticipation, and the fresh posters only added fuel to the frenzy.
