Reports suggest that the much-awaited collaboration between Mahesh Babu and filmmaker SS Rajamouli has entered a significant new phase, with the duo kickstarting a fresh schedule for SSMB29 in Hyderabad. This marks another crucial milestone in what promises to be one of Indian cinema's most ambitious projects.

After completing a long schedule in Kenya, the team has returned to familiar territory to capture essential sequences. The Hyderabad schedule is expected to focus on key dramatic moments that will serve as the emotional backbone of this globe-trotting adventure.

SSMB29 has already generated unprecedented buzz, particularly following confirmation of its planned release across 120 countries, a feat that would establish new benchmarks for Indian cinema's global reach. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran are unofficially a part of the Mahesh Babu starrer

Rajamouli, fresh off his international triumph with RRR, has reportedly crafted a narrative that will showcase Mahesh Babu in an entirely new avatar. Mahesh Babu has undergone significant physical transformation for the role, embracing a more rugged, adventurous persona that aligns perfectly with Rajamouli's vision.

SSMB29's technical crew includes some of the industry's finest talents as Oscar winner MM Keeravani returns as composer, whilst Vijayendra Prasad provides the screenplay. With the first look scheduled for November 2025, SSMB29 is already generating unprecedented excitement. The film is aiming for a March 2027 release.
