A little while ago, SS Rajamouli took to his X page to share a special reveal of his upcoming film with Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled SSMB29, will be released in November this year. Now, Mahesh Babu has further amped up the curiosity around their film, by sharing a cryptic poster of their film.
The new poster shows Mahesh Babu wearing a bead necklace, which has multiple religious elements like a trishul and what appears to be Nandi - The Bull. From the looks of it, the protagonist of SSMB29 would be portrayed as a staunch Lord Shiva devotee. It is to be noted that many of SS Rajamouli’s earlier films have had strong religious symbols and use of mythology, including Baahubali and RRR.
Making the poster further intriguing is the visual detailing of blood smeared off near Mahesh Babu’s neck, promising for the film to have plenty of action and violence.
Additionally, considering that both Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu have used the hashtag ‘Globetrotter,’ fans are beginning to speculate whether that is the actual title of their film.
The film is being produced by KL Narayana with a reported budget of Rs 1,000 crore. Reports suggest that the film is currently scheduled for release in March 2027. SSMB29 is written by Vijayendra Prasad and features music by MM Keeravani.
