As per our sources, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Wednesday morning at Rainbow Hospitals in Hyderabad. The news is yet to be officially shared by the couple themselves.

The couple, who tied the knot in a destination wedding in Tuscany in November 2023, have kept their personal lives largely away from the spotlight. Social media, however, has long speculated about their first child, with fans eagerly waiting for an announcement. If confirmed, the new arrival would also carry a special significance, it is understood that this is the first boy grandchild for Chiranjeevi among the celebrated Mega family.

Varun Tej, the son of actor-producer Naga Babu and nephew of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, gained recognition with films like Fidaa, Tholi Prema and Gaddalakonda Ganesh. Lavanya Tripathi, meanwhile, has earned recognition with films such as Andala Rakshasi, and Bhale Bhale Magadivoy. 

The birth of their child comes at a busy time professionally. Varun Tej recently wrapped up shooting for VT15, a Telugu-Korean horror-comedy which is a cross-cultural project. Lavanya Tripathi, meanwhile, is preparing for the release of Sathi Leelavathi, her next big-screen outing.
