Varun Tej’s VT15 to be a horror comedy with Korean connection
On Sunday, on the occasion of Varun Tej’s birthday, the actor's next film, tentatively titled VT15, was announced. The first look poster of the film hints at a unique horror-comedy theme. The tagline, “When haunting turns hilarious,” suggests a blend of supernatural elements and humour, setting the stage for an entertaining experience.
The poster showcases a chembu (metal cup) adorned with a dragon symbol, wrapped in saffron cloth, and engulfed in flames. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, known for Venkatadri Express (2013) and Krishnarjuna Yuddam (2018), the film features music by S Thaman. The reunites the ace music director with Varun Rej after Tholiprema (2018).
The project is being produced under the banners of UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment. The official cast and crew details are yet to be unveiled.
Meanwhile, Varun Tej was last seen in Matka which received underwhelming reception from audiences.
