Ram Pothineni's upcoming slice-of-life drama Andhra King Taluka is building momentum as it approaches its final shooting phase, with the makers now announcing the release date for the film's second single. The track titled 'Puppy Shame', composed by the dynamic duo Vivek & Mervin, is set to drop on September 8, promising audiences another entertaining musical number after the buzzing ‘Nuvvuntey Chaaley’

The newly released song poster offers an intriguing glimpse into the film's playful tone, featuring Ram in a jovial moment in college, laughing at someone who has apparently taken a tumble. This candid snapshot encapsulates the film's promise of blending humour with heart, whilst showcasing Ram's energy as a student.

Directed by Mahesh Babu P under Mythri Movie Makers banner, Andhra King Taluka is billed as the ‘biopic of a fan,’ exploring the relationship between an ordinary cinema lover and a superstar.

Kannada superstar Upendra takes on the pivotal role of the titular Andhra King, bringing his considerable screen presence to what appears to be a meta-commentary on stardom and fan culture. His recent cameo appearance in Coolie has reminded audiences of his magnetic appeal.

Bhagyashri Borse, who was last seen in Kingdom, appears as the leading lady, making their love story the core aspect of the film. For Ram, this project marks a creative shift from his recent action-heavy ventures, allowing him to explore different facets of his acting abilities.

With its November 28 release date locked in, Andhra King Taluka is shaping up to be a heartwarming love story.
