Andhra King Taluka enters final shooting phase with one-month Hyderabad schedule

Andhra King Taluka, starring Ram Pothineni and directed by Mahesh Babu P, has entered the final stretch of filming with a one-month-long shooting schedule underway in Hyderabad. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind several major Telugu releases, the film is described as a first-of-its-kind entertainer with a blend of action and drama.

The new schedule, which began this week, is being carried out on a specially erected set in Hyderabad. The current focus is on filming romantic sequences between the lead pair, Ram Pothineni and Bhagyashri Borse, against a night backdrop. This portion is expected to continue for ten days, after which the team will shift to shooting critical daytime sequences, including the film’s climax, over the next 20 days. With the completion of this schedule, the film’s shoot will be wrapped up.

Kannada star Upendra plays a pivotal role in Andhra King Taluka. Upendra is playing the role of a superstar in the film and he is said to represent the titular “Andhra King.” The first glimpse showed Ram Pothineni as an ardent fan of the superstar and the film is billed as a romantic entertainer. 

Andhra King Taluka features an ensemble cast that includes Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Satya, Rahul Ramakrishna, and VTV Ganesh. The technical team brings together cinematographer Siddhartha Nuni, music composers Vivek–Merwin, National Award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad, and production designer Avinash Kolla.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar, Andhra King Taluka is expected to be one of the key commercial releases on Mythri’s slate. A release date is yet to be officially announced.
