Pawan Kalyan’s birthday came with a treat for his fans, as the makers of OG released a new poster of the actor in full gangster mode. The still captures Pawan, in his Ojas Gambheera avatar, casually sitting on the boot of a rugged Dodge car. Sporting a maroon shirt and black trousers with a jacket thrown over the vehicle, he sports a bearded look and dark shades, exuding an air of measured danger. The Mumbai backdrop and blood-stained ground beneath the car hint at the violent power struggle his character is set to enter.

OG’s poster was dropped online by DVV Entertainment on Tuesday, quickly catching attention across social media as fans flooded timelines with wishes and reposts. With his relaxed yet menacing stance, Pawan’s look sets the tone for the film’s gritty world.

Directed by Sujeeth, OG features Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a gangster returning from exile to Mumbai for a high-stakes mission. Priyanka Arul Mohan stars opposite him, while Emraan Hashmi makes his Telugu cinema debut as the antagonist. The cast also includes Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Shaam and Harish Uthaman.

Backed by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari, OG boasts cinematography by Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa, with production design by A S Prakash. Promotional material so far has leaned heavily on stylised action, dark undertones and Pawan’s commanding presence at the centre of it all.

OG is slated for a solo worldwide release on September 25, after Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 shifted its date, leaving the stage clear for Pawan’s gangster saga.
