The makers of Pawan Kalyan starrer They Call Him OG released a character teaser for Emraan Hashmi, who plays the main antagonist in the action-thriller, on the occasion of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday. OG is written and directed by Sujeeth, who has previously made

The 50-second teaser establishes Omi as a ruthlessly violent crime lord, who is vengeantly looking forward to meet his arch-nemesis OG (Pawan Kalyan), only to fulfill his desire of demolishing him. The teaser, slickly cut, offers brief glimpses of Omi’s violent streak before establishing OG as he awaits the arrival of Omi.  The teaser also features a background score that is consistent in its use of Japanese musical elements, much like the ‘Firestorm’ single that was released last month. Thaman S is the music composer for OG.

The teaser ends with an interesting touch of Omi signing off with a message ‘Love, Omi’, putting a fascinating twist on what sounds like a conventional exchange between two long-lost lovers. OG marks Emraan Hashmi’s Telugu debut. 

The stylish actioner also stars Priyanka Mohan in the lead cast. The extended cast includes Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Shaam, and Harish Uthaman. In the technical team, Ravi K Chandra and Manoj Paramhansa helm the cinematography. Navin Nooli is the editor.
