The official trailer of upcoming Ravi Teja starrer Mass Jathara was released on Monday evening. The film is directed by Bhanu Bogavarapu.

Mass Jathara promises to showcase Ravi Teja in his quintessential macho hero avatar, with the actor playing a fierce station incharge who likes to identify himself as a ‘criminal police’ figure. In a contrast to her urban image, Sreeleela too promises to essay an earthy village belle this time. But most surprisingly, the makers finally reveal Naveen Chandra as the primary antagonist of the story, looking ruthless and rustic like never before. The trailer ends with a violent confrontation between the hero figure and antagonist, with the hero promising to dominate the ‘war zone’ against Naveen Chandra’s character.

While carrying all the conventional tropes of a Ravi Teja entertainer, Mass Jathara promises to be a tad more stylistic and violent in its approach. Veteran actors like Rajendra Prasa, Ajay Ghosh, VTV Ganesh and Naresh VK are part of the ensemble cast as well.

With its trailer release, the makers also confirmed that October 31 will now be the date for premiere shows for their film, starting from 6pm onwards, with the wide-scale release now pushed to November 1.

Mass Jathara is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Bheems Ceciroleo has composed music for the action-entertainer. Nandu Savirgama has penned dialogues for the film. In the technical team, Navin Nooli helms editing while Vidhu Ayyanna is the cinematographer. Sri Nagendra Tangala is the production designer.

The release for Mass Jathara has been postponed many times earlier this year. The film was officially launched in June 2024, with the title announced a few months later in October.
