Ravi Teja, who is currently gearing up for the release of his much-delayed film Mass Jathara, is working with Kishore Tirumala in his next project. The film, tentatively billed as RT76, also stars Ketika Sharma and Ashika Ranganath. Now reports are coming in that Ravi Teja has agreed to do his next film with filmmaker Shiva Nirvana.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film reportedly is a crime thriller, a different territory for Ravi Teja after massy entertainers like Mr Bachchan and Mass Jathara. The project is expected to go on the shooting floors in November this year.

If the reports are true, this will mark Ravi Teja's seocnd collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers. The two had previously collaborated on Amar Akbar Anthony. It is to be noted that Ravi Teja had also signed a film with Gopichand Malineni under the banner, which was launched in October 2023. However, the project was quietly shelved, and Gopichand went on to make another film for Mythri Movie Makers, the pan-India project Jaat starring Sunny Deol in the lead.

Shiva Nirvana, who made his debut with the 2017 film Ninnu Kori, has since made Tuck Jagadish, Majili and Kushi. Kushi, his previous film starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, didn't perform well despite a great opening at the box office.

Meanwhile, Mass Jathara will hit theatres on October 31. Also starring Sreeleela, Mass Jathara is directed by Bhanu Bogavarupu. The film will enjoy a solo release week, and is expected to do well with strong word-of-mouth reports.
