Pawan Kalyan and Dil Raju reunion on the cards? Producer drops key hint at special screening

Dil Raju confirms he’s waiting for Pawan Kalyan’s dates as fans buzz over a possible new collaboration

Producer Dil Raju has hinted that a new collaboration with Pawan Kalyan may be on the horizon. The revelation came during a special screening of They Call Him OG, where Dil Raju told an electrified crowd, “OG gave us much needed energy. We are running with profits.Pawan Kalyan is Nizam ka Badshah. I am waiting for his dates”. The statement, delivered amid loud cheers, has instantly sent social media into overdrive.

The buzz follows the phenomenal success of They Call Him OG, which Dil Raju distributed in the Nizam region. The gangster action film, which has grossed over Rs 55 crore share there, is now the highest-grossing film in Pawan Kalyan’s career in Nizam territory. Speaking at the event, Dil Raju credited the Pawan Kalyan’s pull and added, “Once I get his dates, we’ll make it official. I will surely collaborate with Pawan Kalyan gaaru again.”

The duo last worked together on the 2021 courtroom drama Vakeel Saab, a remake of Pink, which marked Pawan’s comeback after a three-year break. Released during the pandemic, the film went on to perform well despite limited theatrical access. Dil Raju, who also distributed Pawan’s early hit Tholi Prema in Nizam, shares a long-standing association with the actor. one that fans have been eager to see reignited.

While the details of their next project remain under wraps, industry reports suggest that Dil Raju is keen on mounting a socially-driven drama, possibly with director Anil Ravipudi. 

For now, Pawan Kalyan, who recently wrapped his portions for Ustaad Bhagat Singh, is focusing on political commitments.
