Siddu Jonnalagadda’s much-awaited romantic comedy Telusu Kada has cleared its final hurdle before release. The film has received a U/A certification from the censor board, paving the way for its theatrical debut this October 17, just in time for the Diwali festivities.
Directed by popular stylist-turned-filmmaker Neeraja Kona, the film brings together an interesting trio, Siddu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna, and Srinidhi Shetty, in what promises to be a light-hearted yet emotionally tangled love story. Siddu’s character reportedly finds himself in the tricky position of being drawn to both women, setting the stage for a blend of humour, charm, and heartbreak in equal measure.
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, Telusu Kada has been one of the season’s most anticipated rom-coms, thanks to its breezy premise and vibrant pairing. The first look and songs have already struck a chord with younger audiences.
On the technical side, the film boasts an impressive crew, Gnana Shekhar handles cinematography, Naveen Nooli, a National Award winner, is on the editing desk, Avinash Kolla manages production design, and Sheetal Sharma takes charge of costumes. With such a strong team, Telusu Kada looks poised to offer a visual and musical treat alongside its romance-driven narrative.
Releasing amid festive competition, Telusu Kada will go head-to-head with Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp and Priyadarshi’s Mithra Mandali this Diwali weekend.
