The festive spirit of Dussehra just got brighter. The team behind Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (MSG) unveiled the first look of Nayanthara as Sasirekha and it’s all grace, charm and vintage allure. Draped in a radiant yellow saree, accessorised with traditional jewellery and a soft smile, the star makes an impression that is both elegant and rooted.

Nayanthara plays opposite Chiranjeevi, who headlines the film as Shankar Prasad. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, MSG is being billed as a wholesome family entertainer with Shine Screens’ Sahu Garapati producing, in association with Sushmita Konidela’s Gold Box Entertainments. Smt. Archana presents the film.

The collaboration is noteworthy for many reasons, MSG is Ravipudi’s first outing with Chiranjeevi, and it promises to blend the actor’s signature humour with the director’s knack for lively, family-rooted storytelling. The makers are tight-lipped about the storyline, but with the festive slot already locked, expectations are soaring.

Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the music, a dance number was recently choreographed by Vijay Polanki. On the technical side, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has Sameer Reddy as director of photography, Tammiraju on editing duties, and AS Prakash overseeing art direction. The screenplay has been shaped by S Krishna and G Adi Narayana, with Krishna also doubling as executive producer.

Adding to the anticipation is the presence of Venkatesh Daggubati, who will appear in an extended cameo role. Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is gearing up for release during Sankranthi 2026.
