Sivaji, who made a powerful comeback with Court - State vs a Nobody, is now being flooded with offers. He will soon be seen playing an important role in the film Dhandoraa, which is directed by Murali Kanth and produced by Ravindra Benejree Muppaneni.

“I can’t talk about my role, but I can say that it gives me a lot of scope to perform,” said actor Sivaji. He added that the title Dhandoraa is usually used for movies by filmmakers like R Narayana Murthy. “I insisted the director put this Dhandora title and it is apt to this story,” said Sivaji at the teaser launch event.

“Though I played a farmer in this film, we didn’t discuss their problems or any other issue,” said Sivaji about his role. Sivaji also clarified that this film is not an art film. “After watching the teaser, you may think that this is an art film or a revolutionary film, but the story is about an incident that happened in a  family in a village,” said Sivaji. This is a typical commercial film, the actor said, adding that he won’t do it if it is a revolutionary film or an art film.

Actor Ravi Krishna said that he is a big fan of Chiranjeevi in real life, adding, “I am playing the same in this film. Meanwhile, director Murali Kanth said that the story is about a rooted cause in a particular village, and narrated in a more hilarious way. “As shown in the teaser, the story revolves around death and everyone takes it in their own perspective. A deep rooted cause shown with a sugar-coated comedy,” said the director.

Dhandoraa also stars Nandu, Navdeep, and Bindu Madhavi in prominent roles.
