Allari Naresh, who has been eagerly awaiting a strong comeback, is now gearing up for his next release — 12A Railway Colony, a thriller hitting screens on November 21. The actor, whose previous outing Bachchala Malli couldn’t meet expectations, is confident that this attempt in a new genre will impress audiences.
“This is the first time I’m attempting a full-fledged thriller, and I’m sure the audience will love it,” said Naresh during the film’s trailer launch event held on Tuesday. He revealed that the story, written by Polimera fame Anil Viswanath, has multiple layers and is gripping. “Anil has crafted a story that will surprise everyone. Thrillers demand intense performances, and every actor gave their best,” Naresh added. He also praised music director Bheems Ceciroleo, saying, “Bheems has delivered some of the best songs of my career. Though he’s known for commercial films, this project showcases a completely different side of him. He’s going to reach new heights with this film.”
Naresh further teased that the film’s suspense will keep audiences hooked till the very end. “You won’t be able to guess who the villain is until the climax. That’s the brilliance of Anil’s writing. The story is actually inspired by a true incident,” he shared.
On a lighter note, Naresh jokingly remarked about director Nani Kasaragadda, who is set to tie the knot soon, “Usually, people marry after a success, but Nani is doing it before the release — that shows his confidence in the film. We all want to gift him a blockbuster as a wedding present.”
Also starring Kamakshi Bhaskarla as the female lead, alongside Jeevan, Sai Kumar, Viva Harsha, Getup Seenu in the ensemble cast, the film is produced by Chitturi Srinivasa Rao. “After Naa Saami Ranga, producer Chitturi wanted to collaborate again. We heard several scripts before Anil’s story came up. I instantly liked it because it was a new genre for me, and that’s how 12A Railway Colony took off,” Naresh concluded.
