Jigris, the buddy comedy directed by Harish Reddy Uppala, is slated for a theatrical release on November 14. Ahead of the release, the makers released their film’s trailer.
Starring Krishna Burugula, Dheeraj Athreya, Mani Vaka and Ram Nithin, Jigris promises to be a wacky comedy about four friends — Praveen, Prashanth, Vinay, and Hari — who plan a wild Goa vacation and a road trip in their old Maruti 800, to make up for over two years of not finding time for each other. The eclectic bunch is led by Hari, a loudmouth yet seemingly happy-go-lucky dude who is seething with frustration within. As their trip proceeds, these four men run into unexpected troubles and adventures in their journey, while also struggling to be on the same page about how to tackle those troubles. This promising entertainer makes space for plenty of slapstick humour as well, as evident in the trailer.
Jigris is produced by Krishna Vodapalli under Mount Meru Pictures, and will be theatrical distributed by Vaasydeva Movie Creations. Kamran Syed has composed music for the film. Key crew members include Eeswaradithya as the cinematographer and Chanakya Reddy Toorupu as the editor.
The teaser of the film was released at a grand ceremony in August, where Sandeep Reddy Vanga spoke highly of the producer and his project, giving his vote of confidence to the team.
Ram Nithiin is known for his appearance in MAD franchise.
