The makers of 8 Vasantalu have now set a release date for their film. Starring Ananthika Sanilkumar and Shuddhi Ayodhya in the lead roles, 8 Vasantalu will hit theatres on June 20.

Directed by Phanindra Narsetti, 8 Vasantalu is billed a coming-of-age drama. The first teaser of the film, which was released in October last year, established its protagonist (Ananthika) as a complex woman who carries many facets to herself, both personally and professionally

The film has music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, most known in Telugu industry for his soundtrack for Nani starrer Hi Nanna. The first single of the film, ‘Andhamaa Andhamaa,’ has garnered over 5 million YouTube hits to date. In the technical team Vishwanath Reddy handles the cinematography while Shashank Mali is in charge of editing. Vishwanath won the Gaddar Film Award earlier today, for his work in Gaami.

8 Vasantalu is produced under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, with Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar serving as producers. Upon its release, the film will clash against the boxoffice against a big-scale production like Kuberaa, which stars Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in lead cast. 

Phanindra Narsetti is known for his indie films Backspace (2012), Madhuram (2014) and the crowd-funded film Manu (2018).
