Sharwanand’s Manamey is finally set for its OTT release, nearly eight months after its theatrical release in June 2024. The romantic comedy-drama, directed by Sriram Adittya, faced delays in securing a digital streaming deal. It is set to drop on March 7 on Prime Video.

The film marks Sharwanand’s first collaboration with Krithi Shetty and is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory. Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the music.

Manamey follows Vikram, a university doctoral student in London with a flamboyant personality, and Subadra, a friend of Vikram’s late friend’s wife. After the tragic passing of Vikram’s close friend Anurag and his wife Shanthi in an accident, their two-year-old son, Kushi, is left in need of care. Due to UK Child Services regulations, Vikram and Subadra are required to live together at Anurag’s residence to look after the child.

Manamey also features actors like Rahul Ramakrishna and Vennela Kishore in supporting roles. Prawin Pudi handled the editing, while cinematography was jointly helmed by Gnana Shekar VS and Vishnu Sarma.
