The official trailer of Anandhi-Varalaxmi Sarathkumar starrer Shivangi was released on Saturday. The film is slated for a theatrical release on March 7

In Shivangi, Anandhi plays a simpleton housewife who is being interrogated about the murder case of her husband. However, as the investigating officer (played by Varalaxmi) pursues the case, she realises there is lot more to the unpacked about case and the person she is interrogating. Shivangi promises to be an intriguing murder mystery with a multi-layered narrative. 

The film is written and directed by Devaraj Bharani Dhaan, while Naresh Babu P serves as the producer. Actors like John Vijay and Koya Kishore are part of the supporting. Bharani K Dharan is the cinematographer, and Samjith Mohammed is the editor. The music for the film is composed by AH Kaashif. A few days ago, the makers had released their first single, titled ‘Seema Bidda Re.’

Shivangi will clash at the boxoffice against Ankith Koyya starrer 14 Days Girlfriend Intlo. 

Anandhi’s last Telugu film was the 2023 release Vidhi, while Varalaxmi appeared in many Telugu films last year like HanuMan, RTI, and Sabari.
